National Eucharistic Pilgrimage Routes Announced for 2024 National Eucharistic Congress

Catholics across the United States are gearing up for an epic two-month pilgrimage to Indianapolis next year, as part of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage. With 48 dedicated pilgrims set to embark on this spiritual journey, the event promises to be a transformative experience for all involved.

Starting from four different locations – San Francisco, Bemidji, New Haven, and Brownsville – the pilgrims will cover a total of 6,500 miles and pass through 65 dioceses along the way. Each route has been carefully planned with significant saintly names, reflecting the spiritual significance of the journey.

The pilgrimage, organized by Modern Catholic Pilgrim in partnership with the National Eucharistic Congress, aims to revive the faith of Catholics across the country. With a focus on encountering the risen Christ through the Eucharist, the pilgrims will be missioned back into their local communities to spread the fire of their newfound faith.

The journey will be led by 12 “perpetual pilgrims” and priest chaplains, who will guide the group through Masses, processions, and devotions. While the pilgrims will walk 10-15 miles a day, there will be support vehicles available for challenging terrain or climate conditions.

For those unable to join the pilgrimage in person, there will be opportunities to participate virtually and make their own Eucharistic pilgrimages. The goal of the initiative is to create a movement of healed, converted, and unified Catholics, ready to be sent out on a mission for the life of the world.

As the countdown to the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis begins, excitement is building among Catholics nationwide. Stay tuned for updates on this historic pilgrimage and the transformative impact it will have on the faithful.
