St Aloysius PU College Embraces Festive Spirit with Grand Celebrations

St. Aloysius PU College was a sight to behold as it embraced the festive spirit with grand celebrations marking both Children’s Day and Diwali. The campus came alive with vibrant festivities, showcasing the unity and spirit of the student community.

The celebration kicked off with a heartfelt prayer, setting a serene tone for the day. The principal, Rev Fr Clifford Sequeira SJ, highlighted the significance of celebrating both Children’s Day and Diwali, praising the students for their passion and energy. The day was filled with performances and activities that brought joy and excitement to all.

The ‘Junior Big Boss’ segment added an innovative touch to the celebrations, creatively depicting Diwali rituals in a fun and engaging way. The faculty also joined in with dynamic dance performances and a mimicry act, adding to the cultural richness of the event.

In a show of social responsibility, the student council organized a donation drive, emphasizing the college’s commitment to giving back to the community. Games and interactive activities further fostered a sense of camaraderie among the students.

The grand finale was a mesmerizing medley of songs and dance performances by the student council, culminating in a burst of crackers that lit up the sky in a dazzling display of lights and colors. The event was graced by the Campus Minister, Finance Officer, Vice Principals, and Deans, adding to the grandeur of the celebrations.

St. Aloysius PU College’s Children’s Day and Diwali celebration was a true reflection of the college’s commitment to holistic development, cultural enrichment, and community engagement. It was a day filled with joy, unity, and boundless spirit, showcasing the best of what the college community has to offer.
